Hanalei Farmers’ Market

Wailua Bay Creator’s Fair


For those looking to connect with creative locals and support small businesses on the island, the Wailua Bay Creator’s Fair was explicitly born for you. Following the devastation wrought by COVID-19, this East Kauai monthly fair showcases Kauai creators of all kinds.
 
When: Sunday, May 28th, 8:30 AM - 1 PM

Community Caring Day at Lawai International Center

Another great opportunity is to volunteer with the local community at Lawai Center. Every Saturday starting in May, the Lawai Center will serve you homemade lunch in exchange for working alongside others in their gardens.

We recommend this for anyone looking to soak up the sunshine and connect with the local community wholesomely.

Amy Hanaialii - 25th Anniversary of Palehua 


25 years ago, a young woman from Maui released a song called Palehua. It became one of the most danced-to songs in hula and one of the most famous songs in Hawaiian history. Today, Hanaialii is a 6-time Grammy Nominee - and this May, she’ll be performing at Anaina Hou Community Park in Kilauea to celebrate.
