Kauai Waterfalls are simply breathtaking; in fact, they are some of the world’s best. And because choosing which ones to see can be challenging, we’ve compiled a list of some of most talked-about falls on the Garden Isle.
Most of the Kauai waterfalls we list here are accessible by independent travelers; assuming they are not closed or kapu (off limits). If you do see a sign indicating the area is closed or has restricted access, please be respectful of this if you choose to explore on your own. However, if you’d rather sit back, relax, and admire the sights, we highly recommend a Kauai Helicopter Tour; it really is the best way to see all of the beautiful waterfalls tucked away in hidden valleys. And nothing can surpass the experience of a helicopter flight into Waialeale Crater and viewing its "weeping wall." The sight is breathtaking - you can't even count all the waterfalls!
