Hawaiian Paddle Sports' Environmental Commitment
Hawaiian Paddle Sports was recently honored by the Hawaii Ecotourism Association for sustainable marine practices. They are now one of only 14 companies in the state of Hawaii to be certified by the HEA as an “Ecotour Company”. They are active members of their local Surfrider Foundation (and have joined their Rise Above Plastics campaign) and have undertaken a number of green initiatives such as beach clean ups and reef and marine education. They also help to instill visitors with a sense of respect for local marine life and the environment.
Additionally, the company is also a certified B Corporation- a network of over 1,500 businesses throughout the world who are dedicated to using their businesses as a vehicle for social change. Hawaiian Paddle Sports is one of only seven B Corporations in the state of Hawaii and the first to be certified on Maui. Maui Outrigger Canoe Tours
