East Kauai offers several great hikes for beginners and more advanced hikers; many with incredible views into the heart of Kauai and Mt. Wai'ale'ale.
Sleeping Giant and Kuilau are two of the best half-day hikes on the island. For more adventurous hikers, check out Makaleha Falls or Uluwehi (Secret) Falls.
