2022 Events and Festivities

Hawaii Kuauli Pacific & Asia Cultural Festival

This 3-day event epitomizes “Hawaii festival.” With food, dance, fashion, fire knives, and tons more, the rich culture of the Island of Hawaii will be celebrated at the source. You’d be hard-pressed to find a single event that checks more boxes for enthusiastic Hawaii visitors than this one.

Kapalua Wine & Food Festival

An outrageously fun and luxurious event, this multi-day, multi-location festival has been transporting visitors to a dream world of world-class wine and world-famous scenic locations for 41 years and counting. In fact, it is the longest-running food and wine event in the United States. If oceanfront wine tastings with paired dinners sound appealing to you, don’t miss it.

When: June 9th - June 12th,

King Kamehameha Day Parade & Festival

Cultural celebrations on the Big Island will hit their June peak on King Kamehameha Day. A renowned parade taking place across the islands and reaching its 105th annual iteration in 2022, the King Kamehameha Day Parade will be held in Historic Kailua Village on June 11th.

When: Saturday, June 11th, 9 AM - 3 PM

Big Island Jazz & Blues Festival

This event speaks for itself. Music lovers will not want to miss this scenic showcase featuring numerous award-winning musicians at the beautiful Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Waimea.

When: Saturday, June 4th, 5 PM - 9 PM

Kona Coffee Espresso Workshop

Another exciting food-related event that really showcases what is unique about the Big Island, the Kona Coffee Espresso Workshop will be held on June 16th at Puna Chocolate Company in Kailua-Kona.

When: Thursday, June 16th, 9 AM - 10 AM
