Kauai Culinary Market
But what about food? Don’t worry, we didn’t forget - and neither did Kauai. If you’re visiting the island in February, stop by The Shops at Kukuiula on a Wednesday evening. There, you’ll find the Kauai Culinary Market, one of the absolute best markets you’ll find anywhere in the state. Live music, tons of fresh produce and cooked meals, chefs going onstage to show off, and a wine and beer garden. The grounds on which this takes place in Koloa are also quite beautiful.
When: Wednesdays, February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd; 3:30 PM - 6 PM
Where: 2829 Ala Kalanikaumaka St, Koloa (The Shops at Kukuiula)

Makai Music & Art Festival
The Makai festival is a staple of our Kauai lists because it combines many of what many look for in a Hawaii event. It has the music, the local food, the handmade local crafts, and the distinctively laid-back, friendly atmosphere - like you could spend all day there. It also has free admission and free parking!
When: Wednesdays, February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd; 1 PM - 5 PM
Where: 4080 Lei O Papa Rd, Princeville (Makai Lawn)
