Moon Walk at Waimea Valley

Duke’s OceanFest

Described as Waikiki’s premier ocean sports festival, this celebration of Duke Kahanamoku is ostensibly a surfing competition - but it’s so much more than that. You will also find water polo, paddleboarding, volleyball, and even dogs on surfboards. This is fun in the sun epitomized, and it lasts more than a full week!

Where: Kalakaua Ave, Waikiki (Kuhio Beach)

40th Annual “Waikiki Style” Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival

Music lovers shouldn’t miss this iconic showcase of one of Hawaii’s most beloved and distinctive instruments. When: Saturday, August 13th, 4 PM - 9 PM
Where: 2777 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu (Waikiki Aquarium)

Where: 650 S King St, Honolulu (Frank F Fasi Civic Grounds)
More Info: The Creative City

14th Annual Hubb Keiki Fest

Where: Sherwood Beach, Waimanalo
